MWS Awards 2011

Should stop, procrastinating!
I'm rushing for an assignment right now and since I'm stressed to the max, I figured why not blog just to release some of the stress out? So here I am!
Anyway, this is a really backdated post cause MWS Awards was held on the 29 October 2011! BOO! But still, better late than never eh?
Here I want to extend my thanks again to Paris_B for the invite for the awards, I met other beauty bloggers and shared tips on makeup and skin care. Overall I enjoyed myself during the awards and glad to be part of the party :)

No pictures of the actual awards though, silly me forgot to bring my camera! ):
Here are the pictures of the goody bags, my are they a lot!
I separated them so for easier reference when I review them, so here goes!

Do let me know via comments or e-mail which item that you would like me to review ya, stay awesome! It's midweek already!

Quotes

Oh my, it's been a week since I've last updated.
Eeks. How time has flown! The last week was melodramatic (for me at least) and during this time I've read lots of quotes and also learn to look at the brighter side of life. Here are some of my favorites;

"Let the right one in. Let the old dreams die. Let the wrong ones go." quotes__x

"The only person who is truly holding you back is you. No more excuses, it's time to change. It's time to live life at a new level!" ROMEOandJULIET

And,
"Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like" - Will Smith.

and also,
"Buy what you need, not what you want." - Anonymous.

This month's project 10 pan will be slightly delayed because I have some things that are finishing up (few more washes!) and I'm ready to post them up! Expect them soon ya!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Project 10 Pan.. Updates (1)

I realised over the course of project 10 pans, the items that I usually finish are skin care items and moisturisers and an occasional lip balm. Rarely are there makeup items and therefore I think I will draw up a list of makeup items that needs to be finished here.

Ready, Set, Go!

1. Clinique All Over Color in Peony
2. Beauty Treats Mosaic Highlighter
3. Lioele Waterdrop BB
4. Estee Lauder eyeshadow in Sand Dollar & Brown Sugar (already hit pan but focusing on finishing the shadow entirely)
5. Red Earth Perfect Line Eyeliner
6. Shu Uemura Lip Duo Tint & Gloss (had this for ages!)
7. Maybelline Lip Smooth in Cinnamon
8. NYX Round Lip Gloss in Whipped
9. NARS Lipgloss in Turkish Delight
10. Dunhill EDP in 51.3N
11. EGO QV Lip Balm in SPF 20

This does kind of sound like the things I use daily and I guess you're right because I'm always pressed for time and my makeup is usually done the same way because I know it will make me look good on the go. I even just put this items on the desk and touch nothing else until one of them finishes. It's kind of great cause you don't get distracted and use something else and forget about a makeup item and most importantly, not disrupting the rate of your makeup items finishing! :D Genius eh? *Pats self on back*

I know it's pretty hard to stick to one product but what gets me motivated is when I finish this item I can go to my stash and open another similar item! ie: When I finish a bottle of foundation I go to my stash and open another foundation to play with :D

Oh and that achievement feeling when you've finished a product? I thrive on that to keep me motivated too!

Alright. That's all for today's post. What are your ways to be motivated to finish off your products? Do share!

Review: Nivea Creme

Look at how time flies eh, it's mid October already! And fast forward a few more weeks we'll be looking at the end of the year and singing Auld Lang Syne to this year (That's why I do every year end :D) and fret about getting a year older and all.. Man I miss this year already!

And yes, sorry for the long disappearance again and there is no excuse I know. So here I am with a treat for you guys, a review on Nivea Creme!

Credits Here

The iconic blue tin and creamy white cream has been around for so long that they are passed through generations. I remember the smell of Nivea Creme in the house in my younger days but it wasn't until recently when I was looking for a pick-me-up after a long jogging session that I picked this up after debating whether I really need this or just buying it cause I need a pick-me-up.

Needless to say I pick it up.

I have the biggest conflict about this cream, my hands love it and I don't fancy the smell. I mean it's tolerable because I just slap it on and go to sleep. But that is exactly what is stopping me from repurchasing the cream. I like my moisturisers that I use on my body daily to be non scented or lightly scented and Nivea's.. is kind of heavily scented for me ): So that's a minus one.

However.. my skin, or rather my hands love it and I always wake up to beautifully soft skin the next day or when you've been drinking and your whole body is dried up like a prune? I slap on Nivea Creme and my hands just drink it up and becomes softer. So it does work! And works fast too! And because of Nivea Creme, I don't have dry scaly hands anymore! So that's a plus one.

Hmm.. so does this make me want to repurchase this creme? Considering I've just finished it yesterday.. Hmm.. Maybe not. I still have tonnes of moisturisers to go through so it'd probably be awhile before I come around to repurchase this.

Have you ladies tried Nivea Creme? What's you take on it? Do let me know in the comments! Thanks & have a great day! :D

Poll: Do you put dates on your makeup?

Okay, hands up for people who does the same thing as me? Like stick dates of opening on the bottle of the makeup on a certain date to know how much is left, and measure again after a few days how much usage is already used? Or writing dates of opening on the item? Anybody? Please don't tell me I'm alonee )):

Going Through - Beauty Treats Mosaic Highlighter

Recently, I have became a fan of highlighters and along my highlighters craze, I have acquired Beauty Treats Mosaic Highlighter, which is in powder form. This is the first time I've came across a highlighter in powder form, all my other highlighters are in cream form.

The highlight has a combination of different colours, all with a common purpose of highlighting the face, the areas where light hits to make your face features more prominent. For me, I use my ELF powder brush and mix all the colours to give my face a nice, subtle glow.

Oh well, since I've just started using this highlighter less than a few days ago, I can't comment on anything else yet besides giving my face a nice glow. Do check back for a more detailed review soon yeah :D

Have a nice day, peeps!

September Round Up of P10P

Hi guys! It's been ages since I've posted up something regarding p10p yeah? There are times where I don't finish up anything because items like foundations etc take a looooong time to finish up so for makeup its going really slow. Which leads to one question.. In an attempt to finish off products for the end of the month round up, do you guys put on more stuff that you usually need? Do let me know in comments, don't worry I won't judge you because I do that sometimes.. sometimes! :D

Anyway, round ups for September's P10P. Quite a good month I'd say though 2-3 items from the finished items are full sized.

L-R.

Top: Cleansing Cream - Bought from a blogsop. Not a fan of cleansing creams so probably won't repurchase.

Clinelle Lip Balm with SPF - I'm on the fence about this one, I like the fact that it has a high SPF, but I don't like the thickness of the balm. Will probably repurchase for the SPF though.

Clinique Pore Minimizer Serum - I like this, despite the fact that I need to use a lot to cover my whole face. Maybe my face is big? Pores are covered and provides a good canvas for makeup.

TBS Tea Tree Oil Cleanser - Love the tea tree scent and helped keep my blemish in check. Least likely to repurchase as I am not blemish prone, and .. it's not exams yet ;p

Clinique Clarifying Lotion in No 3 - Don't like, a little bit too strong for my liking. It's like your skin is drinking alcohol.

Bottom: H20+ Body Balm in Clearwater & Poolside - Highly moisturising and non-greasy. Will repurchase the big bottle once P10P is over. I liked it so much that I even cut the bottle into half to 'properly' finish it off.

Kanebo Blanchir Superior Serum - This is supposed to be brightening serum because it wipes away old skin cells or melanin-containing old keratin and gives a brighter translucent skin. I don't detect any brightening maybe because I wasn't using enough (I use this only at night) so I don't see any brightening, so I doubt I'll repurchase.

L'Oreal Pore Genesis Serum - I have this in the US version, not the Asia version and I would say, I love this!! The scent is really nice and it covers my pores perfectly. I use this at night because it contains retinol and man.. my skin was smooth to touch after applying this serum ;p So yes, repurchase!! Heee.

That's my figure for this month. What's yours? Do share!

What I Put On My Face At Night - Yves Rocher Hydra Specific Night Cream

This is how my night regime goes - Lotion -; Serum - ; Moisturiser -; Eye Care
As skincare benefits are better reaped at night when the skin is able to absorb the active ingredients in more, I usually don't hold back on what I put on at night. For night time, I prefer more hydrating things because my skin might be oily on the forehead, but it's really dehydrated on the cheek area *fine lines. check*

My night time moisturiser, Yves Rocher Hydra Specific Night Moisturiser which promises deep replenishing night care. And deep replenishing night care it gives! And the Hydra Specific range is specially for hydration purposes.

I'm a big fan of Yves Rocher's skincare products because it's all natural, albeit on the heavy cream side. And the smell, oh the smell. I think the French like their things heavily perfumed but I guess it's okay by me because the smell goes away after awhile.. Considering the benefits that it's given me all this while.. I'd say forget about the smell!

The cream is packaged in a clear 50ml jar which I love. I love jars, anything that comes in jars, although unsanitary, *coughs*. I tend to gravitate to anything that comes in a jar packaging because I can dig onto the very last bit unlike tubes that I have to cut them open to half and finish the remaining products.

The colour of the cream comes in white and the texture is pretty heavy, like I say and caution to oily skinned ladies, do apply a pea size amount on your face cause anything bigger than that, will sort of makes you 'sweat' out. Not good, not good. Especially in our humid weather.

The cream is absorbed fairly fast into my skin, especially after I team it up with my serum, the cream just gets absorbed into my skin quickly! As in no greasiness at all, anymore! Yay. And its a bonus point that I wake up with baby soft skin, I kid you not!

I was on a trip a couple of months back and I didn't bring this gem with me.. and thanks to cabin air and everything, my skin was flat out dehydrated and when I came back I immediately put this on and voila! I wake up in the morning to baby smooth skin again!

However, because it's relatively heavy, (it's cream), I sometimes tend to skip this moisturiser when I know I'm not going to bed immediately (I do wash my face sometimes in the evening) because of the humidity levels here, it will make me sweat out ):

But apart from this little complaint, the cream is fine and moisturises my skin fairly well, and I might repurchase this when I run out, during my birthday because Yves Rocher has a buy one free one policy during your birthday month, woohoo!

:D

Yves Rocher Hydra Specific Night Cream can be bought at Yves Rocher retail outlets.

My fav things in the mornings; (especially when I'm running late!); Lioele Water Drop BB

It's midweek already! How's the week been going along for of all you pretty ladies out there? I hope it's good. I finally had the chance to watch Smurfs yesterday (very delayed I know) but it was such a good movie I would watch it again! Gosh. How I wish I could take one Smurf home with me! :D

But let's not get off topic shall we? Today I will be talking about my favorite things in the mornings, you know when you're still sleepy and you roll around for another snooze and the next minute you know you're running late for class and yet you can't walk out of the house barefaced.. Well! Then this BB is for you! :D

Lioele Water Drop BB.

Just as the name suggests this is a moisturising BB which have waterdrops in it to moisturise your skin. The thing that I really like about this BB is because it's sheer. I know it's a pretty weird thing to say because uhhh, shouldn't I want better coverage etc etc? No. Not for me at least. I like the natural look that this BB gives and when you're running late there is no need for too much blending because it's sheer it doesn't make you look as if you've done your makeup in a hurry.

Despite this being a moisturising BB, it does not make me feel like a oil slick! Yay. I have no idea why, but my skin reacts better to things that are high in water content. Perhaps my skin is dehydrated? Hmm.

And yes, the price. This BB retails at Sa Sa at RM95. Worth it? Well it's alright for me. Its a good product to use when you are in a rush or looking for a more natural look, but I prefer something with more coverage when I go for events.

Ingredients: Water, Phenyl Trimethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Cyclopentasiloxane, Alcohol Denat, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor, Talc, PEG-10 Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Carica Papaya Fruit Extract, Witch Hazel Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Peach Fruit Extract, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone, Cl 77492, Sodium Citrate, Methylparaben, Chlorphenesin, Butylparaben, Cl 77491, Cl 44799, Fragrance, Cyclohexasiloxane, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Disodium EDTA, Ethyl Methane Carboxamide, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Hexyl Laurate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Citric Acid.

Project 10 Pan.. Updates

Hi everybody! How's the week coming along? Good I hope.

Alright, here are some updates on my project, (sorry no pictures cause they're all in the recycle bin already. Hate keeping things too long, I always tend to forget and not throwing and make my room messier than it is already is. Hee.)

So far I've finished 2 moisturisers (Vaseline & Johnson & Johnsons), one lip balm and one day moisturiser. I know its going slow especially on the makeup side but I'm trying my best to bring up the tally, especially on lip balms and foundations cause they take the longest to finish off and cause I have tonnes of them lying around. Resisting the urge to buy makeup is difficult but I know it will pay off when my collection is on an acceptable amount & its also kinder to me wallet! Hee.

How are your projects coming along? Do share!

NYX Rouge Cream Blush in 05 Glow

Been on a blush craze lately, and have stocked up on NYX's cream blushes and am in a love hate relationship with the blushes. Read on to find out why!

The packaging looks like MAC, or so I've been told when mum mistaken the blushes for MAC cream blushes. The blushes come in 3.5g and trust me, it can last you for a long time! The pictures I took does not do a true justice to the blush because in real life it's darker, more of a coral shade.

The blush is creamy and all you need is a little dot, when I said little, I mean really little. I always made a mistake of taking too much and looking like Bozo the Clown. Not a good look ):

Apart from that, this blush gives a real good deal for your cash because you need a little bit only for the apples of your cheeks and the lasting power is pretty good. 5-6 hours before the heats get to me and my whole face looks red ): Oh, and did I mention this is not available locally? Boo! ):

NYX Cream Blush retails at USD 6 and is available at cherryculture.com, nonpareilboutique.com.

Just Curious: What do you do after your hauls?

I know, they said curiosity killed the cat.. But I'm just really really curious! What do you guys do with your hauls? Especially major ones, like in some of my previous posts.

Do you..
Immediately rip them apart and test drive and proclaim that you want a few dozen more of the same thing?

Put them aside and wait until you finish up the existing one and open them up?

Or put them aside and forget about them completely until you found them somewhere?

For me,
I'm a mixture of the first two, especially if its lip balms cause like they say, a girl can never have too many lip balms! :D Yes, that would explain why I have 3 in my bag at the moment.. Hmm. And a gloss.. And a lip stick. And a few dozen more that are opened lying around..

For other items that take quite awhile to finish, ie foundations, eyeliners, I wait until I finish the current one then only I open up another one to replace the existing one.. but sometimes itchy fingers.. you know ;)

I have a friend who rips open everything she buys but she's not a hoarder like me, thank god or else she would have to throw away more stuff than she could manage.. Maybe that explains why she doesn't haul as much as I do.. Which is good I guess. I'm running out of storage space as we speak so I'm pretty selective on my purchases now, which is a good thing.. as far as my purse is concerned. Hee.

Anyway, do let me know what you ladies do with your hauls? I'm curious! :D

Not so latest haul & a mini review

Probably from 3 semesters ago, judging from the books beside the haul. Well, better late than never & a tiny review on it!!

L-R : ELF Bronzing Powders, ELF Studio Lip Stains, ELF Studio High Definition Powder, ELF Studio SPF 45 UVA/UVB Protection Powder, ELF Studio Blush in Berry Merry, ELF blushes, Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse & Stila Made in Your Shade in Medium

ELF Studio Lip Stains - The colours give a matte finish which I absolutely love love love! However, the formula can be a tad too drying if not layered with the clear gloss that comes along with it.

Stila Hydrating Primer SPF 15 - I like it because it has SPF but other than that, not too much to shout about I guess. Oh, the smell.. is horrid. ):

Stila Sheer Colour Tinted Moisturiser SPF 15 in Medium 03 - Ok I like this, which doesn't feel heavy on my skin and is good for those lazy makeup days. Just put this one and I'm ready to go!

Maybelline Smooth Dream Mousse in Creamy Natural - Exact match to my skin!! It was more of a lucky guess because they don't have Creamy Natural in Malaysia and I looked through tonnes of swatches before deciding on purchasing it. Smooth and a dream to blend. I like cream foundations and I usually use my fingers because it's faster. Yay.

What's your latest haul been like? Do share!

Look What I Found..

in Genting Highlands.

A rather unexpected find really, cause I never expected Bath and Body Works to be available in Malaysia, let alone in Genting! So I happily tested the body butters and bought them. Reviews will be coming up soon!

PS: I bought them at Bum City, Bloop Counter for RM38 for one.

Oily Skin..?

My skin type is oily or rather combi-oily, dry around the cheeks oily on the T-zone, which basically makes it a headache when it comes to skincare/foundation. Especially when you take in account your dry/oily areas.

So, what I do is..

Daytime

Cause in the day we need to present ourselves nicely to people, so we need to avoid the dreaded oily problem therefore what I do is restrict the use of any items that are too moisturising that might make me look like an oil slick by mid day. I tone my skin (the normal ones, Nivea, Clinique and the likes) and slap on a oil-controlling moisturiser that has SPF (Nation Daily Protection Face Moisturiser SPF 15), if I'm late or lazy or I just put on a oil-controlling moisturiser (Shills Oil Control Pore Refining Cream) with a sunblock, Sunplay's Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel SPF 25 PA++ or Etude House's Sun Guard Natural Covering Colour Base in SPF 42 PA++ (sun protection is important in our hot humid country! you don't want to end up with skin cancer now do you?) and I'm good for the day. BB cream and blush is a must though cause I find that it makes me look more awake. :P

Night time

I double cleanse off everything with either a cleansing water(when I'm only using moisturiser with SPF) or cleansing water (when I have makeup on) followed by a normal cleanser. For night time, especially for ladies that sleep in an air-conditioned room, it is a must to use a heavy duty moisturiser and ensures that your skin does not dry off during the night, yes even though your oily skinned! I use Hada Labo's Moisturising Lotion as a toner for night time, followed by L'oreal's Pore Minimising Re-Smoother, Kanebo's Blanchir Superior White Luster N and finally Yves Rocher's Night Cream. Ocasionally I slapped on a sheet mask or an oil reducing mask, ElishaCoy's Herb Clay Pore Refining Mask before going off to sleep!

PS: Just remember, just because you're an oily-skinned individual doesn't mean you should shy away from deep moisturising products because oily skinned is caused by insufficient hydration and the only way skin can combat the insufficient hydration is by providing more moisture, hence oily skin.

ps: recommendations are done based on my skin & it may not be applicable to everyone elses sin

Hurray for Hurraw! Sun Protection Balm SPF 15

Okay, while spending half of the day playing outside in the sun under an umbrella outside of my house I decided since I'm spending so much time outdoors I might as well update my blog about the sun protection balm that I've been using for awhile now.

Introducing Hurraw! Sun Protection Balm SPF 15!

I've always been on a quest to find lip balms with SPF cause as much as I love the sun, I hate the damages it can cause to the skin, especially the lips as its usually neglected when we apply sunscreen on our body. Imagine my excitement when I discovered Hurraw!'s SPF 15 lip balm.

This is how the packaging looks like. It's oval shaped too ladies so it does not roll away when stored in jeans or on the dresser. Personally I bought the balm because of its shape, I never had an oval-shaped lip balm before! :D

This is how the balm looks like, and it smells heavily of tangerine which is fine with me cause I'm a big citrus fan. And did I say anything about the glide of the balm? Simply heavenly!! Cause it just glides on beautifully and smoothly, no nasty rough glides like some lip balms with SPF has. And because of its glide I keep on reapplying on my lips heh :P Yes and it's also vegan! So it's like awesomeness in awesomeness. Especially with a glide so gooood.

However, the only minor gripe I have with this lip balm is that it gives a white cast after applied. I think it's because of the titanium oxide in the balm but it doesn't really bother me cause I use this lip balm as a base before my lip gloss and the white cast does not affect the colour of the balm, so it's okay for me. :D

Repurchase? Definitely. And other flavours too (:

Hurraw! Sun Balm retails at RM20 but for purchase of 4 balms and above, customers are entitled for 15% discount until 31 August 2011.

Dry Feet? - Fret No More!

Cause you have Natio Spa Foot Revival Cream coming to your rescue!
The feet is one of most neglected part of our bodies and because of our neglect, more often than not we end up with cracks. Not a pretty sight eh?

Full size 110ml 3.7 oz

The cream that comes out is in white in colour, if you look closer you will see some coming out from the opening of the tube. The cream is lightweight and the next morning I would wake up to more moisturised legs. Knowing how well it does wonders for my feet I decided to apply it on my hands too even though its stated foot revival cream :P And you know.. It moisturises nicely too! Talk about multipurpose!

This foot lotion is now a staple on my bedside table when I can just reach out and grab it to moisturise my feet, especially on the heel when it dries out more often! Yay!

Ingredients are as stated in the picture. Natio is an Australian made product and is available locally at Sasa. I got this from the Heavenly set few months ago retailing at RM89. If you guys still see it in Sasa I'd say grab it cause it contains 4 full size product, one foot revival cream, one body scrub, one hand lotion and foot scrub! All FULL SIZED.! Major savings! Yay! Kind to your feet and your wallet too ;o

Quick update before I disappear!

How's your weekend? With all the excitement in Malaysia lately, its hard to not focus on it especially the media hype surrounding it.

Today, I'm here to blog about some hauls and also a tiny little update on P10P. Due to exams and all I haven't had the time to play around with my makeup as much as I want to so when I hit pan on Maybelline's Clear Smooth Shine Free Face Powder, I was surprised as I never expected it to hit pan so quickly. Guess I've been using it much more than I expected.

Maybelline Clear Smooth Shine Free Face Powder in Natural, hitting pan already. Thought my makeup would make a good background drop for the pan, hee. I group my eyeliners, concealers and samples into different baggies for easy retrieval. Or else they'll be scattered all around and I have to rummage through my drawer and most of the time, I can't find them when I need them.

Moving on, my hauls! Sorry for the dark picture, lighting issues ):

Warehouse like sale on Kate and Kanebo. Lipglosses from Kate, very sheer but has a nice colour to it. Kate's Liquid Foundation in OCD, Kanebo's eyeshadow which I use for countouring and a blush, Kate's liquid eyeliner (very sheer don't like), Kate's pencil eyeliner in white (hard to draw on), Kate's liquid eyebrow in Gold, Kate's eyeshadow and also Kanebo's Blanchir Superior White Luster Serum. Can't do proper reviews on them yet cause they are some that I had yet to use. Oh! And the exciting news? The damage for all this lovelies? RM89 only! :D

My CC and Avon spree. The box is from Avon, Cream to Powder Foundation in Natural, Amuse's blush palette in PBP-01 and PBP-02, NYX's blusher in Desert Rose and Pinch (supposedly dupe for NARS Orgasm!!), NYX Cream Blush in Diva, Tea Rose & Boho Chic, Jordana's blusher in Redwood and LA Colours Nail Polish in Luscious Wine (Love the colour!)

I can't do reviews on these yet cause I haven't opened them yet but do drop comments if you wan me to do reviews on them ya. Goodnight world!

P10P Update - With Pictures

I have something to confess. The rules of P10P stated that I could not purchase anymore makeup or skincare related thing that I'm trying to finish and I haven't been finishing all my makeup and skincare as quickly as I hope to be so I've be ridden with guilt. I keep on telling myself it's going to be the last time but it never happens! But seriously, this last spree I joined will be the last! I have chuck up on numerous amounts of foundation and blushers and for the life of me, could not finish before expiry. Big sigh. What about you guys?

Anyway, onto the P10P update.
So far this are the things I finished off that I have pictures of, cause some of them I've already disposed of.

Perfume vial - I don't know what fragrance is this but I love it to the max. It doesn't give a headache and also when applied onto my pulse points, it stays. Not like my other perfumes that stray, this is the only one that stays.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer - Now I know what the rave for this moisturiser is for! It really makes me skin seem oil-free and it's always very nice to touch after application! Bad but I just can't resist! Will repurchase this definitely.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap - No, no and no! Will definitely not repurchase though it left my skin feeling squeaky clean. The reason is cause this often cause my cheekbones to burn and its definitely not from sensitivity cause my cheekbones aren't flaming red yet. :p

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Facial Scrub - Good to use as a daily scrub but not as a one week kind of thing. Because I use it only on a one week kind of thing I can't tell if its really working so probably won't repurchase.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Lotion - Very creamy and moisturising and not overly perfumed! I LOVE IT! Now, why can't Malaysia just have this range in stock. REPURCHASE REPURCHASE! Yeah, that's how much I like this moisturiser. Also its very light, not too heavy for daily use.

Nivea Calm and Care Deodorant - love it so much till I repurchased it again. The smell is just heavenly but its a little on the heavy side, like all Nivea deodorants are. What I do is roll it on first and walk around to let it dry off before I put my T-shirt on to avoid the white stains on the armpit of my T-shirt.

Avon Magix Face Perfector - Its a good primer and for those days when I don't want foundation I just want sunscreen but be sure to avoid creamy foundations with this primer cause it will slide off. So far its a no repurchase because it sort of burns my face too. Not available locally too.

Boots Lip Care in Strawberry - Meh. Not repurchasing cause the smell puts me off and also its not available locally. I wish that Malaysia will bring in Boots cause their body care range is superb! Oh well, will load up when I go to Thailand this year end.

And that's all. What's your figure? Do share!

Pretty Nails: Etude House Petit Darling Nails in GR603

Really sorry for the lack of updates lately,
has tonnes of work but now its over and I'm back on holidays!
Project 10 pan has been going along smoothly, much better than I thought for now I have finished up 5-6 bottles of body lotion (don't you hate it when the body lotion you can't get in Malaysia finishes and there is no way you can get it unless you go overseas?! I do :P) 2 foundations hit pan, now I'm trying to finish up, 2 lip balm, 1 facial scrub and 1 blush. Yeah I think it's bout all. :D

Okay! Enough with the blab! Today I will be reviewing Etude House's Petit Darling Nail Polish and I would just say, the colour payoff is just lovely. I'm not the kind of person that adores putting colours on my nail because it makes them so much more heavier but ever since I finished my internship I've been getting pretty fond of doing so.

I have to put 3 thick coats to achieve that kind of 'dark' nail polish look that I want and under certain lights it looks almost black. There is a little shimmer of blue in the nail polish and that it what attracted me to the nail polish in the first place. I like shimmery blue stuff! Don't you? :D

Boyfriend complains its too dark but oh what does he know. It is pretty dark indoors but in the sunlight its lovely lovely.

It does not chip easily not does it fade easily and it doesn't have that feel where I think my nail can't breathe, my whole hands feel heavy and unclean so its a pretty good thumbs up for a nail polish. Ingredients are stated as above.

Caught the blue shimmers? This is the best picture I can take closest to the colour, its deep green with blue shimmers all over the polish. I've been wearing it for a week and I do daily chores and it hasn't chip off yet! yay.

Rating: 3/5
Repurchase: Should I run out of it :D

Retails at Etude House for the price of less than RM10. I bought it on sale and it was awhile ago so I can't really remember the price

Stay pretty everybody and have a good weekend. xoxo

Review: Silkygirl Shimmer Duo Blusher in Sunny Glow and Updates on P10.

Shimmer Duo Blusher
The Shimmer Duo Blusher pairs matte and shimmer shades to illuminate your features. The matte blush can be used for shading and contouring, whilst the shimmer shade can be used for highlighting. When used together, you can see an instant glow on your face at once. Its ultra-fine texture makes blending a dream. Oil-free and fragrance-free.

The blush is at the bottom of the blush but I don't use because it sheds and it's pretty harsh so I use my Elianto powder blush to blend it in. I really like this blush and you cant see from the way it looks well used. (; The colour payoff is rather good and it can be build up. I usually use both together and it gives a really nice glow to my cheeks and blends in later on with my whole foundation. I dont know what it is but when I pile on too much foundation I usually use a blusher to balance it. Maybe it's a trick or something but it works somewhat. It doesn't make me look like I went overdone with foundation.
As for the shimmers, I hardly detect any when I use the blusher. Maybe it's really really sheer but out of four shades available for the blusher, I like this the best. Others seem a little scary looking. I have naturally pink cheeks, so its really easy to go over with the blusher and I pick sheer blusher and less on the colour cause it'll make me look like a clown. For that simple reason I've stayed away from most blushers but Silkygirl made me change my mind. Good job on that! I use it everyday for work but I probably won't repurchase because there are tonnes of other blushers out there and I think I would explore the market a bit more before deciding on repurchase.
The ingredients list, try to enlarge to see closer. It's pretty good for a drugstore foundation considering I hardly look at Silkygirl at Watsons and Guardians I'd say Alliance Cosmestics had done well with this blusher!

pros
gives a good glow to the skin
colour payoff is medium, not too sheer not too heavy
wallet friendly
easily available

cons
brush can be further improved

That's all for now. Hope you guys enjoy your weekend! (:

Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 - Loving it!

Am loving BB's Skin Foundation, so I thought why not I do a review on this before I finish off the sample? Yeah, as you guys can see its pretty much finished so I can't do proper swatches so sorry! But if I do purchase the full size bottle(which I will!) I can do proper swatches. For now I have to depend on the last of the foundation that I have left.

I got the shade from the SA at Parkson in 3.5 Warm Beige and it fitted my skintone perfectly! I usually don't say this cause it's pretty hard to find one that matches me correctly.

The boyfriend commented that my skin look flawless today and it's really natural cause it's like you know there's something there but you can't figure out what is it kind of thing. And cause I don't go for heavy foundations that I will most probably sweat off and look like a mask cause I'm wearing it, I'm loving this foundation to the max!

However, the thing that's stopping me from getting this foundation is the price. Yes! Its around RM160 for 30ml and for that price I can pretty much get a few drugstore foundations! But the shade matches me to perfection and it won't cake on and layering tonnes of foundation on the face won't make me look like I'm wearing a mask, I gladly overlook the price tag factor cause like all you ladies know, it's pretty hard to find the PERFECT shade! So yes! Purchasing it I shall! *Though I might have to save for a few months*

By the way, if you ladies are unsure of your skin colour you guys can always hop over to the counter and ask the SA to match it for you guys. The bunch at BB counter at Parkson is awfully friendly so don't worry bout SA's biting your neck off when you request for a free sample.

Go ahead! Maybe you guys will like this foundation as much as I do.
